Job summary

Corrado Management Services, LLC is seeking a field surveying lead to supervise survey crews on construction projects. You will direct field operations, ensure data accuracy, and oversee instrument use and safety.

You will coordinate with project managers and stakeholders, mentor crew members, and provide direction for workflow improvements while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field crews and coordinating on-site surveying activities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; safety-focused and detail-oriented.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and supervise survey crew members.
• Familiarity with robotic total stations, GPS/GNSS, and data collection devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field survey crews across construction layout, topo, and project-controls surveys.
• Conduct field data collection and field calculations per established procedures.
• Maintain accurate field notes and transfer data to project files.
• Serve as on-site point of contact with project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Operate and maintain survey instruments and data collectors; ensure equipment safety.
