Job summary

DCCM Infrastructure Inc. is seeking an Instrumentman to join our surveying team. You will operate and maintain survey instruments to ensure precise data collection for diverse projects.

You will work closely with the Party Chief to perform topographic, boundary, and construction surveys, record field data, and place stakes while maintaining calibration and safe working practices. You will also communicate with teammates to support project timelines and quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; surveying training is a plus.
• 1-2 years of field surveying experience preferred.
• Familiarity with modern survey equipment and data collection software.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain survey equipment, including total stations, GPS units, and levels.
• Assist the Party Chief in conducting topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
• Record and document accurate field data and observations.
• Place stakes, flags, and markers as directed for construction layouts or property boundaries.
• Ensure proper calibration and care of all survey instruments.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support project goals and timelines.
