Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Instrument Operator to support field operations in Atlanta. The role involves collecting data, operating surveying instruments, and ensuring accurate handling of measurements and reports.

The candidate will work with the Party Chief and coordinate with clients and office staff to maintain project accuracy. Applicants should have a HS diploma, 1+ year experience with total stations and GPS gear, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; willingness to train as needed.
• Experience with field data collection and surveying equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
• Knowledge of GDOT procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect data using company standards for descriptions and line coding.
• Assist Party Chief in running field operations.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments to measure elevations, angles and distances.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.
• Ensure daily timesheets, reports and vehicle inspections are accurate.
• Perform calculations to establish reference points and interpret maps and blueprints.
