Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a full-time Survey Instrument Person to work with a survey crew chief in the field. You will collect data to support design activities, boundary surveying, provide sketches, and layout for construction activities.

Qualifications

• Operate GPS and total stations for surveying tasks.
• Perform field work including construction staking, boundary location, ALTA and topography.
• Basic office suite computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with a survey crew chief in the field to collect data supporting design activities.
• Provide sketches and layout to support construction activities.
• Organize survey equipment and supplies; transfer files to internal folders.
• Maintain safe, productive relationships with clients and coworkers and adhere to safety policies.

Education

Associate’s Degree in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related area of study
