Job summary

TRC is seeking a survey crew member to join our Cary, North Carolina USALand Survey Team, performing field mapping of roads, buildings and utilities using diverse equipment. 95% outdoors with exposure to traffic, sun and equipment, requiring fitness to meet client expectations.

The position operates 7:00 am–4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-the-job training and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. TRC offers competitive benefits and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of combined surveying and mapping experience.
• Must be knowledgeable in cross-country pipeline surveying methods and electronic data collection.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate mapping equipment: robots, GPS, data collectors, UAS drones, LiDAR.
• Willing to work outside year-round in heat and cold.
• Willing to work 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday - Friday.
