Job summary

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• MnDOT and Railroad staking experience a plus.
• Knowledge of construction plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Run a survey crew for mapping and construction projects.
• Document all phases of survey work.
• Engage in boundary traverses, location surveys, and staking commercial developments.

Skills

Total station operation

Trimble GPS usage

Algebra and trigonometry calculations

Good handwriting skills

Education

High School diploma or GED

Two years of college preferred

LSIT or Certified Survey Technician Level 3
