Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Surveillance Investigator to conduct discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants to support insurance claim administration. Travel daily to cases in the field; no office commute is required.

The role offers opportunities for growth and requires a valid driver’s license and at least one year of related experience. Responsibilities include independent investigations across workers’ compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Post-offer, must complete Allied Universal Investigations training/orientation.
• Minimum of one year verifiable work experience, preferably investigations or protective services.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to type reports in Word with minimal errors.
• Proficiency with laptops, video cameras and cell phones.
• Ability to work independently and manage stress professionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across various coverage types.
• Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document and report observations clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards.
