Job summary

First Star Safety, LLC is seeking a Field Support Technician to support the Maintenance of Traffic Division. You will pre-mark sign locations, assist installation teams, and ensure safety protocols on outdoor roadwork sites.

Flexibility to work outdoors in all weather and to drive to multiple sites is essential. This role requires problem-solving, good communication with staff and clients, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience in utility locating or construction preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a DOT drug test as part of employment screening.
• Overtime may be required when duties cannot be performed within a normal schedule.

Responsibilities

• Call in OUPS needs.
• Drive to sites and pre-mark sign/post locations using maps.
• Communicate locations and relevant information clearly.
• Complete documentation and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and report issues promptly.
• Assist in warehouse with various duties during downtime.
• Perform other duties as required.
