About This Position

This role involves extensive travel to and from each site visited by the Field Tech. Upon arrival, they will perform a walk-through of the facility to repair or replace components on custom-configured network devices supporting multi-year state and county contracts. The position includes installing new sites, assembling network equipment for inmate phone systems, and supporting associated components. Additional duties will be assigned based on business needs.

What You'll Need

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of T-1 and analog circuit repair.
• Strong understanding of multiple network disciplines and advanced diagnostics skills.
• Ability to develop good working relationships with facility personnel.
• Experience in servicing and maintaining inmate phone systems at correctional facilities within an assigned region.
• Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team-oriented business skills.
• Professional attitude when dealing with customers.
