Canon Business Process Services is seeking a Field Support Representative to maintain operation continuity in a busy SLC environment in Pennsylvania. You will be cross-trained across Order Fulfillment, Receiving, Shipping, QA, and Inventory Control, providing coverage for multiple departments and overseeing material handling processes.
The role includes operating forklifts and other equipment, performing inventory cycles, and mentoring new associates to reinforce procedures and safety.
The Field Support Representative (FSR) is a cross-functional operations support position responsible for maintaining operational continuity across the Supply Logistics Center (SLC). The FSR is fully trained in Order Fulfillment, Receiving, Quality Assurance, Shipping, and Material Handling, allowing them to provide coverage wherever business needs dictate.
The FSR serves as a designated operational resource capable of supporting multiple departments, operating powered industrial equipment, completing inventory replenishment, and providing temporary coverage during staffing vacancies. In addition, the FSR serves as a peer leader and ambassador by assisting with the onboarding and development of new associates through effective on-the-job training, coaching, and reinforcement of standard operating procedures.
The FSR position is designed to improve operational flexibility, reduce downtime caused by staffing vacancies, ensure consistent weekend replenishment coverage, and strengthen new hire onboarding through peer mentorship.
Physical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting or standing
May lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Experience operating power tool equipment
If required to operate a forklift, must be forklift certified and be able to use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.Minimum one year of forklift experience preferred.Previous experience training or mentoring associates preferred.Experience operating powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar equipment.Experience performing multiple warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, or inventory control.Previous experience training or mentoring associates preferred.
Working knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, quality processes, and material handling.Knowledge of inventory replenishment procedures and inventory accuracy practices.Working knowledge of scanning equipment, warehouse management systems, internal database tracking systems, dollies, carts, and material handling equipment.Must successfully complete all CBPS Safety Training and equipment handling procedures.
Basic computer skills.Experience using RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems preferred.
