As a Field Service Engineer, you will be essential in the operations, maintenance, and delivery of our proprietary analytic tools. Join us to support diverse, evolving systems and make an impact on vital missions!

This is a hybrid position, averaging 3 days/week on Government site.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Security, Information Technology, or related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience. Work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and work ethic skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
• Public speaking skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning in cybersecurity.
• Ability to install, configure, operate Parsons-developed software tools, and train users.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification.

Experience with Network Analysis:

• Open-source tools like Wireshark, Tcpdump, Nmap.
• Network fundamentals, protocols, OSI model, TCP/IP stack.
• Passive network mapping (Visio, draw.io).
• Network monitoring with SIEM solutions.

Experience with IT Administration:

• Linux OS patching and maintenance (Rocky, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Kali).
• Scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible).
• Technical documentation.
• IT equipment policy enforcement.
• Hardware setup and maintenance.

Desired Skills:

VM and Cloud Computing Administration:

• VMware ESXi/VSphere, VirtualBox, KVM.
• OpenStack, Salt.
• Kubernetes, Docker.
• Shared storage solutions (Dell Unity, vSphere VSAN).

Network Device Administration:

• Switches with VLAN configuration.
• Routers with RIP, BGP, OSPF.
• Hardware firewalls.

Cybersecurity:

• STIG scans and remediation.
• Security certification scans.
• Firewall and ACL configuration.

Minimum Clearance:

Top Secret SCI

Salary Range:

$100,900.00 - $176,600.00
