HCLTech is looking for a highly talented Field Quality and Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Minnesota team. You will perform field failure analysis, verify quality issues, and conduct root-cause analysis to identify immediate and permanent countermeasures on customer parts.

The role emphasizes GD&T, metrology, and RCA methods, with experience in machining and sheet metal processes. Electronics parts qualification and incoming part approval knowledge are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Field failure analysis and verification of quality issues.
• RCA methods and 7QC tools understanding.
• Hands-on metrology and part measurement experience.
• Knowledge of machining and sheet metal processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform field failure analysis on parts identified by customer
• Verify correctness of quality issue
• Perform RCA on the identified part or related part
• Find immediate countermeasure to manage line
• Hands on segregation and measurement of on-hold parts
• Identify countermeasure for permanent resolution
• Good understanding of GD&T and associated metrology and measurement techniques
• Understanding of RCA methods and 7QC tools
• Hands on experience in metrology and understanding of part manufacturing processes, specifically machining and sheet metal
• Knowledge on electronic parts qualification and incoming part approval process
