Job Description

1. Responsible for fryer performance, quality, and production. Includes controlling and maintaining bird health with the aid of all available facilities and equipment, including vehicular, industrial safety, and maintenance awareness programs. Implementing and controlling field compliance with grow-out, disease prevention, safety, and quality programs.
2. Coordinating all ranch functions and ensuring their accurate completion.
3. Coordinating labor needs and scheduling accordingly, completing wage records, and conducting personnel evaluations on all subordinate team members.
4. Team member development and training. Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed. Administering disciplinary actions and assisting with hiring as needed.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 6 months of successful chicken grow-out supervisory experience.
2. Strong Animal Science background; a Bachelor of Science Degree in Poultry Science, Ag-Business, or related field is preferred.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills.
4. Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to act independently and evaluate fairly and objectively.
5. Ability to work flexible schedules as needed, including weekends, holidays, and early or late hours.
6. Proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to create and analyze data.
7. Ability to interface effectively with support groups, departments, and upper management.
8. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
9. Valid DMV driving record.
10. Bilingual in English/Spanish is helpful.
