Job summary

Jackson Pool Surfaces in Grandview, MO is seeking a Field Service Lead for Pool Renovation. You will coordinate on-site crews across multiple job sites, lead safety and quality standards, and ensure projects progress on schedule while maintaining superior client satisfaction.

You will train and coach team members, manage materials and labor, communicate updates to leadership, and travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction, renovation, or a related trade; pool experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure job sites are prepared with the materials, equipment, and labor needed for efficient execution.
  • Train, coach, and provide real-time feedback to team members on proper techniques, safety practices, and company expectations.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and updates to leadership.
  • Ensure job sites are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition in accordance with company standards and safety requirements.
  • Ensure proper use and care of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Support final walkthroughs and ensure projects are completed to standard.
  • Collect field measurements, photographs, site conditions, and project specifications to support accurate estimating, quoting, and scope development for renovation projects and add-on work.
  • Monitor labor, materials, and crew performance to support efficient project delivery, cost control, profitability, and reduction of waste or rework.

Role Summary

The Field Service, Pool Renovation position serves as a central point of coordination for active pool renovation projects and day-to-day field operations. This position provides on-site leadership, coordinates crews across multiple job sites, and ensures projects remain aligned with operational expectations, project requirements, and company quality standards.

Managing several projects and priorities at once, this role monitors progress in the field and takes action to address issues as they arise. The role is responsible for helping keep projects on schedule while ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to established specifications.

Success in the Field Service, Pool Renovation position requires hands-on swimming pool construction and renovation knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate field crews and respond to changing project needs. This role plays an essential role in maintaining consistency, quality, and productivity across renovation sites.

Schedule

This is a full-time, field-based position with a schedule that varies based on project demands and seasonal workload. Workdays typically begin early in the morning, and hours may extend later in the day during peak seasons to ensure project completion. This role is performed primarily on active job sites rather than in an office setting.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in construction, renovation, or a related trade; relevant pool experience is required
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Solid understanding of job sequencing and construction quality standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a field-based environment
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both field crews and office staff
  • Proficient with workplace technology, including CRM systems, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other mobile and office applications, with the ability to use technology effectively to communicate, manage projects, and complete daily job responsibilities
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Work Conditions

Work is primarily performed on active construction job sites and requires frequent travel between locations to oversee project operations, inspect work, and support field activities.

The position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent movement throughout active job sites, and the ability to bend, kneel, reach, and occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or turn while handling materials, tools, or equipment as needed. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and varying terrain. The role requires the ability to safely navigate active construction environments, communicate effectively in person and by email, text, and phone, and occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to approximately 100 pounds.

Compensation

$70,000-$90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, with the upper end of the range reflecting candidates with relevant pool industry experience and bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).
