Job summary

Weller Pools, LLC is hiring to lead daily field operations for commercial pool construction in Orlando, FL. You will guide crews, enforce safety, and ensure schedule integrity while coordinating formwork, rebar, concrete, plumbing, and related site activities.

Ideal candidates bring proven leadership, deep pool construction knowledge, ability to read plans, and strong communication skills. The role emphasizes outdoor work, OSHA compliance, and reliable transport to project sites.

• Proven experience leading and managing construction crews.
• Deep knowledge of commercial pool construction processes and sequencing.
• Hands-on mastery of formwork, rebar, concrete placement and finishing, and pool plumbing.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong safety mindset with OSHA awareness.
• Clear communication and solid organizational skills.
• Comfort working outdoors in changing weather.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

A day in this role

Sunrise finds you on site, reviewing the day’s plan with the Lead Superintendent. You gather your crew for a safety huddle, walk the layout, and verify elevations before work begins. By mid-morning, you’re coordinating formwork, checking rebar placement against drawings, and sequencing the concrete pour to keep productivity high and quality uncompromised. In the afternoon, you’re confirming pool plumbing rough-ins, inspecting equipment pad and piping installations, updating daily reports, and aligning vendor deliveries so tomorrow’s work is ready to go.

• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and layout information.
• Oversee and self-perform key tasks, including formwork setup, rebar placement/assembly, concrete placement and finishing, pool plumbing installation, equipment pad and piping installation, and related structural/site activities.
• Verify work meets plans, engineering requirements, and company standards.
• Lead daily safety meetings and uphold all company and OSHA requirements.
• Track progress through accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and material logs.
• Communicate progress, issues, and resource needs to the Lead Superintendent.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.

What you bringRequired
