The role is full-time with a hybrid schedule (in-field 3 days/week), offering a $25 hourly compensation and opportunities to lead merchandising and distribution efforts for diverse accounts.

Qualifications

• Retail experience required; Hispanic retail preferred.
• Knowledge of trade marketing and grocery industry helpful.
• Associates degree or 2+ years verifiable experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint at intermediate level or better.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of the products and services offered by DTH.
• Support client programs to ensure excellent results (merchandising, events, in-store activations).
• Assist field supervision to ensure proper program execution (market audits, store checks, events).
• Escalate field issues to management and follow up for resolution.
• Mentor and coach field staff to improve performance and efficiency.
• Assist in staffing, calendars, reports, and client meetings.

Overview of the Role

• The Field Supervisor is an integral part of the DTH team and a key support for all agency operations. Ensuring all of our contractual obligations are executed is a priority. In this position you will assist the management team with overseeing compliance of our client’s needs, requests and goals. The agency manages a variety of projects for several clients in several markets; this position will work across all clients, projects and markets at any given time.
• This position is full-time, 40 hours a week, will observe a hybrid schedule in the field 3 days a week
• Compensation: $25 hourly
• You will be responsible for selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts.
• Utilize technology to complete work efficiently.
• You must be able to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time.
• This is a position where you work independently, follow direction, and have excellent communication skills.

• Develop a working knowledge of the products and services offered by DTH
• Support client programs, as assigned, to ensure excellent results
  • Merchandising, events, in-store activations, etc.
• Assist with field supervision to ensure proper execution of programs including but not limited to
  • Market audits, store checks, event set ups etc.
• Escalate field issues to the management team and follow up for timely resolution.
• Serve as a mentor and a coach to all field staff to drive better performance and efficiency
• Continuously evaluate field operations for discrepancies, issues and opportunities for improvements
• Assist with creating and managing field execution calendars
• Assist with schedules
• Collect and provide the management team with adequate feedback of the field operations to assist in developing staff. performance/coaching assessments and improvement plans
• Assist with recruiting and field staff training
• Assist in management of master storage inventories
• Fulfillment of program and campaign materials and supplies
• Assistance with preparing reports and presentations, as requested
• Provide the management team recommendations that will lead to greater efficiencies and improved operations
• Attend client meetings and presentations as requested
• Other duties as requested by the management team

What You Should Bring to the Table

• Must have retail experience; preferably Hispanic retail experience
• Knowledge of trade marketing principles and understanding of the grocery industry
• Prefer bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Associates degree and/or 2+ years verifiable experience
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint at an intermediate level or better
• Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, communication and proof-reading skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Team player who always stays in the solution
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to make decisions in the best interest of the agency and its’ clients
• Trust worthy, honest and highly developed people skills

• Required to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail task & audits at local grocery retailer
