Job summary

Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC (GEIR) is seeking a dynamic Field Supervisor to oversee multiple field crews across environmental and industrial services in our projects. You will coordinate daily field activities, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive project success from start to finish while mentoring teams and improving workflows.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication with clients and internal teams, and the ability to manage schedules,

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of field management experience in industrial/environmental services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and staff.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Willing to work 8+ hour shifts and respond to emergencies.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
  • Experience with respirator use and safety protocols.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform outdoor manual labor.

Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) partners with clients across utilities, mining, chemical, pulp & paper, and manufacturing industries to deliver innovative environmental, health, and safety solutions. Our highly trained teams provide 24/7 industrial cleaning, hydro blasting, vacuum truck services, and specialized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and full turn-key turnaround services. We also manage waste handling, transportation, and disposal in strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Position Overview

Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Supervisor to lead and inspire multiple crews within our environmental and industrial services operations. As a key leader, you will orchestrate daily field activities, ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency, and drive project success from start to finish. This pivotal role demands a proactive, solutions-oriented professional with a passion for mentoring teams, optimizing workflows, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Essential Functions
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate field crews to achieve operational excellence on every project.
  • Develop, coordinate, and adjust daily work schedules and allocate manpower to meet project and client needs.
  • Oversee and participate in the completion of assigned field tasks, ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for crew members regarding safety protocols, project updates, and personnel matters, fostering a culture of open communication and accountability.
  • Manage essential administrative responsibilities, including documentation of attendance, job packs, customer requests, project coordination, and preparation of detailed status reports.
  • Champion and enforce GEIR’s safety standards, promoting continuous improvement and risk mitigation in all field operations.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members, supporting professional development and skill advancement.
  • Participate in a minimum of three hours of leadership training per month to stay current with industry best practices and company initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives and operational needs.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in managing and scheduling field employees engaged in industrial and environmental services is mandatory.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, professional oral, and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively interface with employees and clients at all organizational levels
  • Capability to perform demanding work, including activities conducted in and around confined spaces and at elevated heights.
  • Availability and willingness to work over 8-hour shifts as required, and to be available for Emergency Response callouts as part of a rotational schedule.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience operating and working with industrial tools and heavy equipment.
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License; a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to use a respirator in environments with potential exposure to chemicals, fumes, and other airborne contaminants. May be required to be clean-shaven to ensure a proper respirator seal.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs. and perform required manual labor in diverse outdoor settings.
  • Superior ability to analyze complex situations, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior, proven experience operating within an industrial or plant-based setting is essential.
Pay
  • $25.00 - $34.00 (Pay is commensurate with prior experience)
