Job summary

Beckenhauer Construction seeks a Superintendent to take full ownership of the jobsite, delivering safety, schedule, quality, and clear communication as a unified commitment to excellence on every project. You will lead from the field with a strong project team and represent the company with owners, architects, and trade partners.

Responsibilities include enforcing OSHA standards, coordinating trades, managing daily field activities, tracking progress, and driving closeout.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction supervision experience.
• Degree in construction management or related field is a plus but not required.
• Equivalent field experience considered.
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead Jobsite Safety & Compliance - Enforce OSHA standards, daily safety inspections, control subcontractor safety, maintain housekeeping, stop unsafe work.
• Manage Field Operations & Schedule - Execute the CPM schedule, run on-site meetings and pull planning sessions, coordinate daily workflow, prevent trade stacking.
• Coordinate Trades & Site Activities - Oversee site logistics, material deliveries, site access, subcontractor coordination, daily field communication.
• Ensure Quality Control - Inspect work for plans/spec compliance, manage inspections/testing, drive punch list completion.
• Maintain Documentation & Closeout - Complete daily reports, track as-builts, document delays/issues, assist with RFIs, lead field closeout and turnover.
