Job summary

R.H. White Companies is seeking a hands-on Superintendent to lead field operations on major mechanical and heavy industrial construction projects.

You will oversee daily activities, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical/heavy industrial background, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex piping and rigging work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of construction site leadership experience in underground or utility work beneficial.
• Experience overseeing projects valued at millions and coordinating piping/heavy rigging.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field activities and coordinate crews and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage work schedules and critical-path activities.
• Monitor labor, equipment, materials, and costs to maintain budgets.
• Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are followed.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve field challenges to keep projects on track.
• Maintain accurate project records and reports.
• Develop and mentor field personnel and promote continuous improvement.
