Job summary

Howell is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to consistently deliver great outcomes on client projects. You will lead on-site teams, manage scheduling, production, quality and safety, and coordinate with owners, designers, and engineers to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate brings 4–10 years of construction experience, a track record of managing multi‑million dollar projects, and a strong focus on safety and communication in occupied facilities.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of construction experience.
• Experience managing projects valued between $3M and $10M across multiple delivery approaches and sectors.
• Leads as primary on-site leader of subcontractors and field forces.
• Proficient in developing and updating project schedules.
• Strong communication with owners, designers and engineers.
• Ability to operate in occupied facilities with minimal disruption.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project scheduling, production, quality, and safety with strong site safety emphasis.
• Coordinate and lead subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Conduct daily huddles and lead weekly coordination meetings with trades.
• Collaborate with owners, facility staff, designers and engineers.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, permits, and inspection requirements.
• Develop and update the project schedule and three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Manage projects in occupied and active facilities with minimal disruption.
