Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company seeks a Telecom/Security Systems Field Superintendent to lead low voltage electrical work on large hi-tech buildings in Claude, TX. The role reports to the Electrical Project Superintendent and Construction Manager, coordinating with multiple subs and clients.

Responsibilities include supervising the electrical team, managing RFIs and submittals, ensuring QA/QC, safety, and schedule adherence, and interfacing with architects and engineers to resolve constructability

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of low voltage electrical construction and systems.
• Experience on large industrial or hi-tech fabrication projects.
• Familiar with low voltage distribution, UPS equipment, cleanroom installations.
• Able to interpret CSI specifications and constructability reviews.
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office; able to operate project management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities with superintendents and subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft workers.
• Maintain and adjust project schedule daily.
• Manage RFIs and submittals with clients and architects.
• Oversee cost control, QA/QC, and safety programs.
• Provide field conditions for cost estimates and support project staffing.
