Job summary

Edwards Moving & Rigging, Inc. is seeking a Project Superintendent/Foreman to lead field teams in complex heavy rigging and specialized transport projects.

You will interpret engineered and lift plans, direct crews on site, and ensure safe, efficient execution of moves from planning through execution. You will develop crew members, enforce safety protocols, and coordinate with Project Managers to deliver projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of heavy rigging and specialized transport operations.
• Hands-on experience executing complex equipment moves.
• Ability to understand engineered plans, lift plans, and JHAs.
• Sound judgment around equipment setup and load placement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Leadmen, Riggers, Apprentices, Operators, and other crew members.
• Direct heavy rigging operations including jack-and-slide systems and hydraulic gantries.
• Review engineered plans, lift plans, JHAs, and project requirements before work begins.
• Translate plans into clear directions for the crew and verify setup and load placement.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and daily activities; monitor conditions and adjust plan as needed.
• Communicate progress and needs to Project Managers and leadership; complete daily reports.
