Job summary

Pacific West Environmental & Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on environmental remediation and infrastructure projects nationwide. You will direct crews, coordinate resources, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule.

This role requires heavy travel (up to 75%) with a comprehensive travel package, and you will develop field leaders, manage daily reports, and collaborate with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent or senior field leader in environmental remediation, heavy civil, earthwork, infrastructure, or related construction.
• Experience leading multiple crews, heavy equipment, subcontractors, and complex field activities.
• Strong understanding of excavation, grading, site work, material handling, and heavy construction operations.
• Environmental remediation experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to plan work, manage resources, and drive productivity while maintaining safety and quality.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, scopes of work, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct Foreman, Crew Leads, Operators, Laborers, subcontractors, and other field personnel.
• Plan daily and look-ahead activities, including manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and site logistics.
• Coordinate excavation, grading, hauling, material handling, site preparation, restoration, and other project-specific activities.
• Maintain a strong focus on environmental compliance and execution in accordance with project plans, specifications, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead daily safety planning and reinforce stop-work responsibility and safe work practices throughout the project.
• Monitor productivity, quantities, schedule, equipment utilization, and overall field performance.
