About the Position

Sciens Building Solutions seeks a Field Superintendent who will lead an installation team to deliver projects on schedule and on budget. Working mostly in the field, the Field Superintendent will ensure projects are installed in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations, abide by Sciens’ quality standards, and maintain the company’s top priority of safety. The role also includes mentoring field employees.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensure projects are installed in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Deliver projects on schedule and on budget.
• Work directly with customers to achieve a high level of satisfaction.
• Identify potential change orders and communicate to the Project Manager/Operations Manager and Estimators for assessment and processing.
• Ensure compliance of all assigned employees to Sciens safety standards.
• Provide mentoring and training to field team members.
• Ensure all documentation and reports are completed on time and accurately.
• Review and participate, as necessary, in all system testing to ensure readiness for final inspections and acceptance.
• Make recommendations on efficiency improvements associated with project installations.
• Assist in the performance management process of team members.

What We Like About You

• 2‑5 years of experience within the commercial fire detection and fire suppression industry.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and ability to obtain OSHA 10 certifications.
• Proficient in applicable codes related to installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, decision‑making, and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills; proficient at Microsoft Office.
• Physical fitness to perform demanding work, including lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, working from heights, climbing ladders, standing, and walking most of the day.
• Proficient in issue resolution.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to travel occasionally overnight, as needed.
• Able to pass background check and pre‑employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
