Hyperion Excavating LLC is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to operate heavy equipment, lead the crew, and manage daily field operations on job sites in Colorado. The role focuses on keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in excavation or civil construction, strong leadership, and the ability to read plans and use construction management software. A valid driver’s license is required.

Job Title: Field Superintendent / Field Manager

Type: Full-Time, In-Person

Overview:

Hyperion Excavating is seeking a reliable and experienced Operating Field Superintendent to operate heavy equipment and manage day-to-day operations on job sites. As Operating Field Superintendent, you’ll be the boots on the ground keeping the job site running. You’ll lead the crew, solve problems in real time, and make sure every phase of the work gets done efficiently and to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily field operations and crew activity

Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers

Ensure work is completed to spec, on time, and within budget

Maintain safety and quality standards on-site

Read and interpret plans, schedules, and job scopes

Track production and report progress to management

Handle on-site issues and adjust plans as needed

Qualifications:

5+ years in excavation or civil construction

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to read site plans and construction drawings

Ability to properly use construction management software and record work progress

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
