Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a SUE Technician in Atlanta, GA. You will perform subsurface utility investigations using GPR and locators, locate utilities, and prepare field sketches and as-built data for projects.

The role requires 1–2 years in SUE or utility locating, the ability to read plans, and a valid driver’s license. Travel to job sites and a pre-employment drug screen are required.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of experience in SUE, utility locating, or related field.
• Familiarity with SUE methods (QL-B, QL-C, QLD, QL-A).
• Ability to read and interpret construction and utility plans.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsabilidades

• Perform subsurface utility investigations using GPR, electromagnetic locators, and vacuum excavation techniques.
• Accurately locate underground utilities such as gas, electric, water, and telecom lines.
• Prepare field sketches, utility drawings, and as-builts.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate reporting and safe excavation.
