Job summary

Inland Crane Inc. in Greenville, TX is seeking experienced Field Welders to support precast concrete erection and structural steel operations on a large-scale construction project.

You will perform quality field welding on structural connections, embedded plates, and precast components, reading blueprints and welding symbols, while adhering to AWS D1.1 and safety requirements on active sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel or precast field welding.
• Ability to read construction drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural field welding on precast connections and embedded plates.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, welding symbols, and project specifications.
• Weld using SMAW (stick) and FCAW (flux-core) per project specs.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and fitting components.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate with crane operators and erectors to complete welding activities safely.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow AWS requirements.
