ECS Group of Companies in Allentown, PA seeks a Specialty Technician I to support field observations, testing, and inspections across soils, aggregates, concrete, and steel. You’ll work under supervision, handling sampling, data collection, and documentation, with potential for NDT exposure and growth through ECS methodologies.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years’ experience, a HS diploma, and valid driver’s license; willingness to obtain industry certifications; capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Willingness to obtain 2 relevant certifications from listed authorities.
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurance; transportation to job sites.

Responsabilités

• Perform observations, testing, inspections, and sampling of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt and structural steel placement.
• Conduct testing of structural and reinforcing steel per industry standards.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and draft admin duties; maintain field equipment.
• Communicate daily with site contractors and project managers; attend project meetings.
• Receive training in ECS methodology and document findings with precision.
