Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Property Manager to work independently across multiple locations, evaluating customer storage needs and recommending packing and moving supplies. You will inspect units daily to ensure inventory is ready to rent and assist customers with payments and reminders.

You will handle cash drawers, deposits, and travel between sites using your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle for travel between different work locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability helps make sure spaces are ready to rent
• Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits are part of the daily business
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
• Work independently at multiple locations; travel between sites using own vehicle
