Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to install and weld compactors, chutes, balers, and related equipment in the field. Stick welding will be 100% in the field, with a company-provided take-home service van for on-site work.

You’ll start focused on welding, with growth into compactor technician responsibilities and possible exposure to electrical troubleshooting or hydraulics. Own tools and a valid license are required.

Competenze

• Experience welding on compactors, cans, chutes, balers, or similar equipment.
• Own tools including a welding helmet.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable MVR.
• Ability to work with used, dirty, and weathered metal.

Mansioni

• Perform Stick welding during compactor, chute, baler, and related equipment installations.
• Weld and fabricate on used, dirty, and weathered metal.
• Work alongside the install team to complete quality welding and fabrication work.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Take initiative, work independently, and take pride in the quality of your work.
• Learn additional aspects of compactor equipment over time as you grow into the Compactor Technician role.
