Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment in Clinton, MD seeks an experienced Stick Welder and Fabricator to install and weld compactors, chutes, and balers in the field. Stick welding is the core and will be used 100% on site, alongside the install team.

You must own tools including a welding helmet, have strong hands-on welding and fabrication skills, and be comfortable working with used and weathered metal. This role offers a company van, a Monday–Friday schedule, uniforms, and ongoing training, with

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Stick welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience welding on compactors, cans, chutes, balers, or similar equipment is a plus.
• Must have your own tools, including a welding helmet.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform Stick welding during compactor, chute, baler, and related equipment installations.
• Weld and fabricate on used, dirty, and weathered metal.
• Work alongside the install team to complete quality welding and fabrication work.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Take initiative, work independently, and take pride in the quality of your work.
• Learn additional aspects of compactor equipment over time as you grow into the Compactor Technician role.
