Job summary

B&G Construction LLC is seeking a Pre-Manufactured Steel Building Erector to support federal infrastructure projects in Florence, CO. This full-time role involves hands-on assembly of steel structures and nationwide travel as needed.

You will erect and align steel frameworks, install wall panels and roofing, and work with hand and power tools on active worksites. Competitive hourly pay, per diem, and company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in assembling and erecting pre-engineered metal buildings or structural steel systems.
• Able to work at elevated heights and outdoors.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% nationwide.
• Proficiency with essential hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Erect and align pre-engineered structural steel frameworks per plans.
• Install wall panels, roof sheeting, insulation, and trim with precision.
• Assemble framing, trusses, purlins, and girts using hand and power tools.
• Unload, inventory, and stage structural materials on site.
• Rig, hoist, and signal steel members during crane operations.
• Inspect alignments with plumb lines, levels, and laser tools.
• Enforce federal safety standards across outdoor sites.
