B&G Construction LLC is seeking a Pre-Manufactured Steel Building Erector to support federal infrastructure projects in Florence, CO. This full-time role involves erecting steel structures for government contracts, with travel nationwide and steady weekly pay.

You will use your hands-on assembly skills to ensure structural integrity on high-priority worksites, while adhering to safety standards and operating within a dynamic outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in assembling and erecting pre-engineered metal buildings or structural steel systems.
• Ability to work at elevated heights and outdoor environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of working hours to various project sites nationwide.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency operating essential hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Erect and align pre-engineered structural steel frameworks according to engineering plans.
• Install metal wall panels, roof sheeting, insulation, and trim components with precise craftsmanship.
• Assemble structural steel framing, trusses, purlins, and girts safely using hand and power tools.
• Unload, inventory, and stage structural materials safely to maintain an efficient site layout.
• Rig, hoist, and signal structural steel members safely during overhead crane placement operations.
• Inspect structural alignments using plumb lines, levels, and laser measurement tools.
• Enforce all federal jobsite safety standards and protocols across outdoor zones.
