This role requires safe operation of hand and heavy equipment, the ability to work at heights, and collaboration with project teams to meet deadlines while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with metal building erection and related concrete forms.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proficient with common hand and power tools.
• Capable of heavy lifting and working at heights safely.
• Familiar with masonry, drywall, roofing, siding is a plus.
• Basic math for measurements and calculations.
• Solid construction site safety knowledge and practices.
• Welding or heavy equipment certifications are advantageous but optional.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Steel Erector to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing steel structures on various construction sites. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life by ensuring the safe and precise erection of metal frameworks, supporting the overall progress of large-scale building projects. Duties

• Interpret and follow construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble steel structures.
• Erect metal buildings, frameworks, and structural components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed.
• Install rebar reinforcement within concrete forms to support structural integrity during pouring and curing processes.
• Perform metal stud framing, drywall installation, siding, roofing, and other related tasks to support building completion.
• Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning steel components while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct dimensional measurements and trim carpentry tasks to ensure precise fit and finish of structural elements.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret construction plans and ensure project specifications are met efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, or related construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting construction plans.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential construction equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights while maintaining focus on safety standards.
• Familiarity with masonry, drywall installation, stucco application, roofing, siding, woodworking, plastering, and remodeling is a plus.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during assembly processes.
• Construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Valid certifications in welding or heavy equipment operation are advantageous but not mandatory.
