Job summary

Weatherford seeks an experienced Field Specialist III to join the Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) Team in Dickinson, ND. You will install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair artificial lift equipment at customer well sites, traveling to remote locations as needed.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, the ability to read technical manuals and drawings, and a commitment to safety. You will support on‑call rotations and document maintenance activities while upholding Weatherford's

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is preferred.
• 2 ½ - 4 years of Oil & Gas experience, preferably in Corod
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and work instructions.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to travel to remote locations and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, inspect, maintain, and repair artificial lift systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Monitor performance and identify reliability improvements.
• Prepare field service reports and documentation.
• Follow HSE policies and operate vehicles/safety gear.
• Travel to customer sites and work in varying weather.
• Support loading/unloading and inventory; participate in on-call.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain workmanship standards.
