Job summary

Presidio, Inc. is seeking a skilled Cost Estimator for the Field Services division to engage with customers, understand requirements, and craft comprehensive estimates for network hardware and low voltage cabling projects.

The role involves creating SOWs, collaborating with the sales team, and producing Bills of Materials while traveling up to 25% to customer sites and project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6–10 years of cost estimating and scope of work experience.
• Experience with BICSI and EIA/TIA 568-B standards.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and lead meetings.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to gather requirements.
• Collaborate with Account Manager/Sales to develop solutions and assist in the overall sales process.
• Create pricing estimates for network hardware/WIFI installations and low voltage cabling infrastructure installations.
• Create Bill of Materials.
• Write and present Statements of Work (SOW).
