Job summary

Presidio, Inc. is seeking a skilled Cost Estimator for the Field Services division to engage with customers, understand requirements, and craft comprehensive estimates for network hardware and low voltage cabling projects.

The role involves creating SOWs, collaborating with the sales team, and producing Bills of Materials while traveling up to 25% to customer sites and project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6–10 years of cost estimating and scope of work experience.
• Experience with BICSI and EIA/TIA 568-B standards.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and lead meetings.

Responsibilities

Travel Requirements

In this role you will be expected to travel up to 25%.

Job Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and collect customer requirements
• Work with Account Manager/Sales Team to develop customer relationship and solutions and assist in overall sales process
• Create pricing estimates for network hardware/WIFI installations and low voltage cabling infrastructure installations
• Create Bill of Materials
• Write and present Statement of Works (SOW)

Required Skills

• Experience in design and documentation process, professional practices and design standards, and development of budget costs.
• Experience in utilizing BICSI, EIA/TIA 568-B standards.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• High level of proficiency in using the following software programs - Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Must be able to coordinate multiple projects at one time.
• Ability to lead meetings either via WEBEX or in person

Additional Desired Skills

• BICSI, RCDD or technician certification

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• 6-10 years demonstrable cost estimating and scope of work creation experience
