Job summary

Veterans Prime, Inc. is seeking a field service professional to install, service, and repair mechanical and electronic equipment at customer sites, our manufacturing locations, or sales offices.

You will use hand tools and test equipment, document equipment specifications, and communicate issues to engineering. Travel up to 80-100% is required, with responsibility for training customers and supporting product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Requires minimal direct supervision.
• Organizational skills and detail orientation are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Expert knowledge of supplied machinery.
• Ability to communicate problems clearly and suggest feasible solutions.
• Willingness to travel 80-100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services or repairs mechanical and electronic equipment at customer sites, manufacturing sites, or offices.
• Uses hand tools and test equipment to perform work.
• Discusses with engineering problems relating to maintenance or operation of equipment.
• Field trains customers and provides phone troubleshooting support.
• Supports sales for product demonstrations and builds customer relationships.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
