Job summary

Boston Dynamics seeks a Field Application Engineer to deliver robotic solutions to customers, align system capabilities with operations, and design site-specific integrations. You will travel up to 50% to customer sites, oversee architecture and commissioning, and ensure optimal performance aligned with customer goals.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, field repairs, software checkouts, and creating technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience in Field Applications Engineering or solution architecture.
• Ability to plan and execute customer integrations and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer integrations and field tests under supervision.
• Provide on-site support for integration customers and diagnose issues.
• Develop site-specific solution architectures and commissioning plans.
• Create and maintain technical documents (SOWs, interface docs).
• Deliver foundational training on products and software to customers.
