Job summary

Hanwha Vision America is seeking a Field Application Engineer to drive technical evaluation in the sales process. You will support field sales teams, perform comprehensive system designs, and train technicians on best practices across the region.

The role requires strong communication skills to articulate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, extensive site surveys, BOM creation, and cross-department collaboration. Travel up to 70% is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales role in network video or physical security.
• Certified Security Product Professional preferred (e.g., Hanwha WAVE, Genetec, Milestone).
• Ability to articulate complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with system design, product testing, and proof of concept development for complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales activities within the territory and support end-user opportunities from a technical perspective.
• Execute comprehensive system designs including site surveys, BOM creation, and third-party product integration.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for key accounts, demonstrating Hanwha Vision products to integrators and engineers.
• Conduct technology and customer-specific trainings and provide sales presentations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate across departments to meet performance goals and exceed customer expectations.
• Assist with technical escalations and feedback on product/system issues to the support team.
• Represent Hanwha Vision America at industry events and trade shows as needed.
• Provide weekly updates on sales activities and opportunities.
