Job summary

RNWBL is seeking a fixed-site, field-based technician in Blythe, CA. The role focuses on maintaining DC system health, performing module swaps, and repairing tracker components at large-scale solar facilities.

You will support corrective and preventive maintenance and ensure safety standards are followed on site. The position requires relocation within commuting distance where possible and involves equipment diagnosis, testing, and collaboration with site leads and clients to achieve project

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in utility-scale solar PV or related electrical/mechanical field.
• Knowledge of DC systems, PV modules, and tracker mechanisms.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

• Reside or relocate within 1 hour of the project when possible.
• Inspect and troubleshoot DC systems, combiner boxes, and string performance; use meters and electrical test equipment.
• Perform module swaps and replacements; diagnose and repair tracker system components.
