Job summary

1st St NW Technical Staffing partners with an established firm to fill a Field Site Supervisor role. This direct-hire position requires leading multi-site field operations, coordinating crews, and ensuring on-site safety and quality during fabrication, assembly, and deliveries.

Travel will be extensive (about 90%), with per diem, company vehicle or mileage reimbursement, and a strong focus on coordinating with engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within

• Background in structural, mechanical and/or industrial trades.

Job description

We have partnered with an established firm that has an opening for a Field Site Supervisor. This is a direct hire position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life/disability insurance, 401(k) plan with an excellent match, generous PTO and paid company holidays. Since this position requires 90% travel, per diem, credit card allowance, company vehicle and/or mileage reimbursement are available.

Duties:

• Lead multi-site field operations including working with general contractors, inspectors, and local unions
• Plan/manage on-site staffing, schedules, budgets and resources as needed
• Oversee fabrication and assembly processes
• Work with engineers, subcontractors and vendors as needed
• Manage job site deliveries such as crane and erection equipment

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Millwright, Iron Worker or installing crane equipment desired
• Experience with large scale, multi-site operations (specialized structures)
• Structural, mechanical and/or industrial background
• Understands tolerances, weld inspections, plumb bob, etc.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time in the U.S.
