Job summary

San Jose Conservation Corps + Charter School (SJCC+CS) seeks a Field Site Supervisor I to lead a crew of 4–9 Corpsmembers on environmental projects in city and county parks. The role focuses on trail maintenance, habitat restoration, and safety oversight, primarily at 2650 Senter Road, with some work at 1560 Berger Drive in San Jose, CA.

You will guide project execution, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with sponsors, contractors and program staff.

Responsibilities

• Transport crew to the job site with equipment trailer in tow
• Organize, direct, and lead a crew of Corpsmembers to work efficiently to complete projects in the allotted timeframe
• Communicate with the project sponsor, sub-contractor, or contractor
• Oversee maintenance of vehicles, keys, gas cards, and registration papers.
• Complete and upload Corpsmember disciplinary action as needed, and monthly Corpsmember evaluations
