Job summary

San Jose Conservation Corps + Charter School is seeking a Director of Corpsmember Support Services to lead the MSW-driven support department in a 100% in-person role at SJCC+CS. The incumbent will supervise a team of Success Navigators and MSW interns, ensuring access to mental health and behavioral support to Corpsmembers.

The role requires trauma-informed care leadership, partnership building with universities and community providers, and collaboration with Education and Job Training teams to

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work and license track toward LCSW.
• Minimum 2 years direct client and case management experience.
• Strong leadership with direct supervision experience.
• Cultural knowledge of diverse populations.
• Ability to communicate across cultures and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and management of the program while ensuring policy and grant compliance.
• Supervise interns (MSW students) and staff, including hiring and evaluations.
• Coordinate daily activities and referrals to ensure quality services and exits.
• Oversee documentation standards and review service documentation.
• Foster an inclusive, trauma-informed, harm-reduction work environment.
• Develop partnerships with universities and community resources.
• Prepare regular reports and manage grants and budgets.
