Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Superintendent 2 to lead on-site operations on client projects nationwide, with the first assignment in northeast Ohio. This role emphasizes safety, quality control, scheduling, and adherence to drawings and specifications, while representing the company with clients.

You will manage subcontractors, prepare reports, maintain records, and ensure proper contract administration and documentation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant experience.
Associate degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and the intent of the drawings.
Maintain the project schedule and escalate delays to management.
Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site leads and project managers.
Take progress photographs and label them for record keeping.
Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
Ensure contractors use the latest design revision for construction.
May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
May be responsible for key trade/subcontractor in support of the project.
Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
Maintain effective correspondence with project management and clients.
Keep on-site records and files per company requirements.
