Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead on-site field operations at client project sites across the United States. You will represent the company, manage safety, quality control, scheduling, and contracts, and maintain customer relations at the site.

Work is performed with minimal supervision on moderate to high complexity projects. Travel is 100% to project sites nationwide, supporting larger teams as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline; at least three (3) years in Construction Management/Supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings.
• Ensures work adheres to project schedule and notifies PM of delays.
• Writes reports (Daily/Quality) for review with site lead or PM.
• Takes progress photos and labels them.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures use of latest design drawings for construction.
• May assist Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with PM.
