This position is responsible for repairing construction machines, component assemblies, and parts both in the shop and in the field. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, ordering parts, writing technical reports, warranty reporting, maintaining company assets, and effective communication with team members.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. An Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology or four years of apprenticeship experience is preferred. Technician classification depends on experience, knowledge, and competence.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, handle tools, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, lift, and communicate effectively. Accommodations can be made for disabilities.
Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving parts, fumes, outdoor weather, extreme temperatures, and noise. Safety is a priority.
