Job summary

RMS Crane & Rigging is seeking a full-time Crane Mechanic in Denver to maintain our fleet. You will diagnose and repair cranes, trucks, trailers, and related equipment, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of crane/heavy equipment experience, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. A personal set of tools and a valid CDL with air brake certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience as crane/heavy equipment/trucking mechanic preferred.
• Must pass drug and background check.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL with air brake certification preferred.
• Clean MVR.
• Regular, predictable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and diagnose engines, powertrain components, hydraulics, electrical systems, and HVAC on cranes, trucks, trailers and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Prepare inspection reports including DOT/OSHA Crane Inspections.
• Follow safety policies and environmental guidelines during tasks.
• Demonstrate professional appearance and safety practices.
