Job summary

Deep Well Services is seeking an Ancillary Equipment Technician to maintain and test oilfield equipment in the Permian region. The role supports both shop and field operations, with a focus on reliability and readiness of equipment such as light plants, tongs, hydraulic pumps, and generators.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience with ancillary equipment or related mechanical systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; must pass pre-employment background, physical, and drug screen; ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain all ancillary equipment in the department (light plants, power swivels, tongs, hydraulic pumps, generators).
• Perform and document testing and inspections after service.
• Maintain and track inventory of consumables and replacement parts.
