Job summary

Deep Well Services is seeking an Ancillary Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance, service, repair, and testing of oilfield ancillary equipment in both shop and field environments. The role requires a mechanical background, 1+ year experience, and the ability to travel locally for field support.

Based out of the Permian shop, candidates must be local to the Midland/Odessa area and willing to work a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience).
• 1+ years of experience working with ancillary equipment or related mechanical systems preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain all ancillary equipment within the department including light plants, power swivels, tongs, hydraulic pumps, and generators.
• Perform and document testing and inspections of equipment following service.
• Maintain and track inventory of consumables and replacement parts.
• Organize and maintain the shop, testing areas, and tong cage.
• Assist field personnel with troubleshooting and resolving equipment-related issues.
• Support operational readiness by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and available.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
